Wall Police at West Belmar Teaching L.E.A.D.

On Tuesday, February 12, 2019 Wall Township Police Officers conducted L.E.A.D. training at the West Belmar Elementary School to a 5th Grade class.  The Wall Township Police Department, in partnership with the Wall Township Public School System, has been conducting the L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs) program at the elementary schools in Wall Township for the past five years to help protect our youth and community from the proliferation of drugs, drug related crimes, peer to peer cyber bullying and violence.  The program is scheduled in blocks of instruction for ten weeks and will end with a graduation ceremony on May 10, 2019.  The L.E.A.D. program is just one of many collaborative efforts between the Wall Township Police Department and the Wall Township Public Schools to provide a safe and drug free environment for our children.
