As you are aware, flash flooding is already occurring. This is a dangerous situation and the flash flooding may persist into the early afternoon.

Sharp rises along the North Branch Metedeconk, Manasquan and Shark Rivers are occurring in response to the extreme runoff.

Additional rainfall is possible in our area through early afternoon.

Do not attempt to cross flowing waters or flooded roads.

River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
