Toys For Children

On Friday, December 23, 2016 police officers from the Wall Township Police Department, sponsored by Wall PBA Local #234, delivered toys to children at the Children’s Center in Jersey Shore University Medical Center for the holidays.  The Wall PBA Local #234 started the program of delivering toys to children JSUMC for the holidays in December of 2008 and continued it every year since.  Wall Township Police Sgt. William Bono has been the organizer of this event for the last eight years.  Sgt. Bono was a past president of the Wall PBA Local #234 and is the present President of the Superior Officers Association for Wall Township. This year there were over 20 children in the hospital and all of them received a gift as part of this program.  The Wall PBA Local #234 will return to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in the summer of 2017 for the Christmas in July program.  The Christmas in July program also gives donated gifts to children in the hospital.  If anyone would like to donate to this program, then please contact Wall Police PBA President Patrolman Andrew Baldino at 732-449-4500 ext. 1174.
