Promotions and Hiring

On Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Wall Township Committee meeting the following Police Officers were promoted within the Wall Township Police Department:

–     Captain Ken Brown was promoted to Chief of Police.

–     Lieutenant Greg Carpino was promoted to the rank of Captain.

–     Sergeant Chris Scerbo was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.

–     Patrolman Vincent Mazzaccaro was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

At the same Wall Township Committee Meeting the below listed officers were sworn in as new full-time Police Officers with the Wall Township Police Department:

• Devin Corso, 24 years, Wall, NJ who possesses a bachelor’s degree and was previously employed as a Class II Police Officer with the Wall Township Police Department.

• Zack Honecker, 29 years old, Red Bank, NJ who possesses a bachelor’s degree and was previously employed as a Class II Police Officer with the Wall Township Police Department.

• Christopher Roeck, 24 years old, Wall, NJ who possesses a bachelor’s degree and was previously employed as a Class II Police Officer with the Belmar Police Department.

• Connor Caponegro, 24 years old, Wall, NJ who possesses a bachelor’s degree and was previously employed as a Class I Police Officer with the Seaside Heights Police Department.

All four new police officers will be attending the Monmouth County Police Academy which begins July 31, 2017 with a graduation date of December 14, 2017.
