Wall Township Patrol Officers were detailed to investigate a report of a suspicious person/ suspicious vehicle complaint at a Peter Court residence adjacent to the Edgar Felix Bike Path. Arriving officers encountered three individuals and a Hummer H1 vehicle to the rear of the property at 2379 Peter Court. Resident David Migliore, 50, was one of the three individuals officers came in contact with when he informed the officers that he and his friends were placing wildlife cameras in different locations on his 12 plus acre property. Further investigation revealed that Mr. Migliore had an active warrant issued by the City of Newark (NJ) and was subsequently placed under arrest. Migliore was escorted back to his home where it was discovered that he was in possession of heroin. Officers arrested two additional individuals at the Migliore residence as well: 34 year-old Rande Palmer of Peter Court was arrested for identity theft, hindering his own apprehension and possession of crack cocaine. 30 year-old Brick Township resident Ryan Maas was arrested for hindering his own apprehension, possession of cocaine and three warrants totaling $10,500. Mr. Migliore was processed and released after posting $10,000 bail. Mr. Palmer was processed and released on a summons. Mr. Maas was remanded to the Monmouth County Jail on $10,000 bail for the Wall Township charges which were in addition to the outstanding warrants.
Immediately following the arrests of the above listed individuals, the residence was secured and a search warrant was executed by Wall Township Police detectives the following day. As a result, Mr. Migliore was additionally charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute (2nd degree), possession of cocaine with intent to distribute within 500 feet of park property(2nd degree), possession of Oxycodone(3rd degree) and possession of drug paraphernalia(DP). Mr. Migliore’s girlfriend, 23 year-old Amelia Alexander of Peter Court, was charged with the same violations. Mr. Maas was additionally charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana (DP), possession of cocaine (3rd degree) and possession of drug paraphernalia (DP). Samara Katz, 41, of Point Pleasant was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana (DP), possession of cocaine (3rd degree) and possession of drug paraphernalia (DP).
Migliore and Alexander turned themselves in to Wall Township authorities on Monday, 11JAN13. Bail for each was set at $102,500. Both were released after a bond was posted. Ms. Katz and Mr. Maas are still wanted by authorities- bail has not been set.
