Motor Vehicle Burglaries in Wall Twp.

Chief Robert L. Brice reports the following occurrences:

On Sunday, October 18 at approximately 1:30 am Sgt. Miles Shanklin and Ptl. Megan Alexander arrested Colleen Kamil for DWI on Allaire Rd in the area of Baileys Cr Rd. Kamil was stopped for failure to maintain her lane of travel while driving west bound on Allaire Rd.

Subsequent to her arrest, and impound of her vehicle, various items were observed inside the vehicle including a purse, various credit cards and electronics that did not belong to either Kamil or the passenger in her vehicle. A further investigation by the Wall Police revealed that just prior to her DWI arrest, Kamil and her passenger, Maurice Peace 29 years old of Asbury Park had entered multiple unlocked vehicles in the north end of the Township stealing various property. Vehicles were entered on; Tally Ho Dr, Manor Dr, Foxfield Circle, Hunters Lane and Pacific Ave.

Along with her DWI charges, Kamil was also charged with Burglary, Theft and conspiracy to commit burglary and theft. She was processed at Wall Police headquarters and released.

Maurice Peace was charged with multiple counts of burglary and theft. He was processed at Wall Police headquarters and transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institute in default of $50,000. bail.

The Wall Township Police, again, remind all residents not to leave valuable personal belongings inside their vehicles and keep vehicles locked at all times.
